This by far the best food, atmosphere, and kid friendly environment you'll ever go to! Went there with my wife and 4 kids tonight and we love the owner's Josh and Will. They work so hard. Jenn is so sweet and ALWAYS remembers our order. Don't know how she does that. Joseph Ingram, we don't appreciate you cussing at the owner outside in front of our children and when I went inside to get another beer I heard you being so incredibly rude to Jenn. You have no right, you had not even finished the beverage you were drinking. How dare you treat people that way.
I get take out often and love their food. However, recently I've stopped in for lunch twice. Food still great once it finally arrives. Right now I waited 10 minutes before getting acknowledged or receiving a menu. Only 2 other tables occupied so not sure why. Took 25 minutes to get Johnnys sub and chips. Not sure I'll be in for lunch again.
Great pizza, not-so-great service. I really think their pizza is great NY style pizza, but the service is pretty lackadaisical every time I go there. In fact, we had to leave tonight after waiting outside for several minutes. Inside says, "Please seat yourself," but no one acknowledged me when I went in. Place was not really that busy. It appears to be a bunch of high school/college-age kids running the show. Vestavia locals seem to get the preferred treatment there, which is as it should be on some level, but not the way a great restaurant should be run.
I love Johnny Brusco's! Joseph Ingram, you are a joke. I was there eating with my family tonight and watched you get your beer and leave the bar without ever telling the bartender that you were getting up and the restaurant was very busy. We heard you call her a very inappropriate name and cursing in front of a family establishment. Josh and Will run a great place and hopefully people like you don't ever grace the doors of such a wonderful place. Noticed that you have given twelve 1 star reviews at other restaurants. That is very pathetic and it was noticed by many.
Thanks Josh for helping me out on allowing me to pick up an uncooked pizza and calzone to carry home and cook on my Big Green Egg so I didn’t have to subject your customers to my 3 unruly children. Love your place and your food.
